



The Laredo Little Theatre’s Mission Statement is to preserve, develop and promote the arts and culture in Laredo and the surrounding communities. The scope of the theatre’s programming varies in each of the following: theatre arts, dance, and music. The Laredo Little Theatre has captivated audiences for over 100 years with productions ranging from youthful classics to dramatic new-age plays. Every stunning performance has been brought to life by volunteers of every age, race, and background with a love for the stage. The Laredo Little Theatre nurtures participants by enhancing self-esteem, developing language and communication skills, strengthening cultural identity, increasing academic and vocational skill sets, and promoting literacy in both English and Spanish.

The Laredo Little Theatre is proud to present its Spring Musical Production, ROCK OF AGES, directed by Gigi Caballero de Flores and produced by A.B. Barrera in conjunction with the commemoration of the Theatre’s 115th Anniversary (founded in 1911). The electrifying production includes vocal direction by Vanessa Rodriguez, Fred Barrera serving as musical director, and Choreography by Erika Garcia Haynes.
Get ready to rock as we take you back to the decade of excess! It’s the tail end of the big, bad 1980s in Hollywood, and the party has been raging hard. Aqua Net, Lycra, lace, and liquor flow freely at one of the Sunset Strip’s last legendary venues.
Broadway’s Best Party is turning up the volume to ten! Nominated for five Tony Awards, including Best Musical, ROCK OF AGES captures the iconic era that was the big bad 1980s Hollywood.
Featuring the music of hit bands such as Journey, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Bon Jovi, Poison, Twisted Sister, and Whitesnake among many others.
ROCK OF AGES features a talented ensemble cast of 25 singers, dancers, actors, and performers, including a live band, performing the entire musical score and all your favorite classic 80’s rock anthems. This is one for the ages that will have you singing “Here I Go Again.”
The show will run April 16-26, as follows: Apr. 16, 17, and 18 at 8:00 p.m. and Apr. 19, at 3:00 p.m. as well as Apr. 23, 24, and 25 at 8:00 p.m. and Apr. 26, at 3:00 p.m. at the Laredo Little Theatre, located at 4802 Thomas Ave.
Tickets are $20.00 pre-sale (available online) or $20.00 the door.
All shows will be held at the Laredo Little Theatre at 4802 Thomas Avenue.
